Jeremie is a self-taught artist, chef, and activist currently living in Memphis, TN who is proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. He spends his time creating content for his brand La Comida de Jeremie and working as the Director of Advocacy & Policy for a Memphis based non- profit. His main goal is to share content that highlights the communities he is part of, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and those interested in a plant-based lifestyle. He does this by sharing vegan recipes, illustrations with a message, and openly advocating for underrepresented communities. ![]() Kent Overshown was born and raised in Oakland, CA. By the age of 14 they were a company member with the Artship Foundation and an apprentice with the Oakland Opera Theatre.
After graduating from Oakland School for the Arts' inaugural class, Kent was accepted to the University of Michigan's esteemed Musical Theater program and completed their degree in 2010. Kent has been seen in the 1st National Tour of 'The Gershwins,' 'Porgy and Bess,' 'Memphis,' and, most recently, 'The Book of Mormon.' They can be heard on the Deutsche Grammophon recording of 'Bernstein: Mass (Live)' and have been featured in the New York Times for their performance in 'Promenade' at New York City Center Encores in 2019. ![]() Rhae is a composer/producer, multi-instrumentalist, and voice actor based in Oakland, California. Since 2017 they have scored and contributed original music for podcasts like 99% Invisible and The Cut. They have also worked on music and sound design for Bay Area dance companies and performers in live dance and film. More recently they have leant voice talent in one-off and recurring roles with the erotic storytelling podcast Dipsea. “I blacked out…because it was so hot,” (Pon Di Road).
They seek to create in a way that exalts the importance of listening, from the mundane to the boisterous, and how this listening develops our sense of identity and place and the impact of this on our variously positioned bodies.Ultimately, they hope that anyone who listens might find some solace and healing in their sounds.
